Password, the Prolific Producer and Singer-Songwriter popular for penning hit songs like Davido’s Gobe, producing and writing General Pype’s Champion and Praiz’s Mercy ventures out on his own, toting his debut album, The Call as a symbol of victory and defiance.
The twelve-track album touches on several themes that have shaped Password’s perspective on life including love, family, spirituality, and self-discovery. Since the pre-emptive release of the first song on the album, Amaghimo, way back in 2015, he has been deliberate about putting out anything that perfectly describes the message he wishes to convey and this intentionality is evident in the album’s organization.
On the journey of self-discovery, Password discovered religion and its importance in his life, hence the title The Call. The twelve-track album is an instruction as well as it is a celebration of life in spirituality.
