It all looked like the Falcons were on their way to victory. At half time they led over Tom Brady’s Patriots by 21-0 and even extended the lead to 25 points in the 3rd Quarter before New England battled their way back into the game and forced the first ever Superbowl overtime.

To win their second Superbowl in two years, New England mounted the greatest Superbowl comeback in recent times and according to some, history by scoring 31 unanswered points to overcome a 25 point lead.

The win makes Tom Brady the first quarterback to win the Superbowl 5 times.
