As Maka looked to make the jump from intimate gathering at embassies to intimate concerts with fans and well wishers, she called on Chocolate City’s Ruby Gyang and Ibadan’s Eri Ife. Hosting the debut edition of Maka: After Dark, a series of bi-monthly shows, Maka and her band, One Band Like as well as the supporting artists put on for fans and those they look up to.
With the intention of releasing the live sound from the show as a playlist, Maka and her team are clearly intent on doing things right which could explain why they have the support of more established acts in the industry like Brymo who was in attendance.
