President Buhari is currently in the UK for the Anti-Corrution Summit. Two days ago, videos of UK Prime Minister David Cameron revealing his opinion that Nigeria and Afghanistan are possibly the most corrupt countries in the world surfaced.
The Presidency today granted Christiane Amanpour of CNN an interview where he addressed some of the questions on corruption. He admitted that Nigeria is indeed corrupt and speaks on the DasukiGate scandal as well as finding over 20,000 civil service ghost workers. He also claims to be more shocked since coming into office on matters of corruption. Buhari also speaks on the progress of taking down Boko Haram and how since coming into office the government has recovered all local governments from the terrorists and forced them to begin carrying out attacks on soft targets.
