Psiv Strengthens His Claim To Drill Royalty On ‘234’

In the warm up to his official debut project, Welcome to the 234, budding rapper, psiv strengthens his claim to Nigeria’s brewing Drill scene with follow up single to Gangland, 234 produced by Canadian contemporary and fellow up and comer, Be Young.

In contrast to the socio-political and conscious tone of the earlier released Gangland, psiv takes a more individual and confident approach on 234. Unafraid to display his confidence in his abilities, 234 is filled with infectious one-liners and catchy lyrics that allude to his prowess and lifestyle.

+234 being Nigeria’s international dialing code, psiv has adopted “the 234” as Nigeria’s moniker, repping his home country with the opening lines “It’s the 234, when I’m touching, it’s mad”. The drill rapper is also sending out a warning to all competition that he’s running the scene; a rite of passage for rappers on the way to cementing their names in the game.

However, for psiv, it’s no war. He’s just reiterating that he’s clear, and making it known that it’s fine to admit that.
