Reekado Banks and Young Jonn connect on new single ‘Maria’.

Ever since Reekado Banks took his first steps on his own record label, he’s been riding an unrelenting wave that has produced records like Yawa and an international feature with St. Lucian group; Lu City. Unwilling to take his foot off the pedal, Reekado Banks returns this week with another love ballad he titles Maria; an upbeat ode to the track’s muse.

On Maria, ad-libbed by Young Jonn who also serves as the Producer, Reekado expresses his intense feelings for Maria whom he says might just kill him if she doesn’t yield to his advances.

Reekado Banks has mastered the art of whispering sweet nothings to us over engaging soundscapes that possess the ability to control our body movements and this effort is in line with that.
