Rudeboy takes the Dancehall route With Patoranking on Together

For both members of the now defunct group; P-Square, this month has been quite progressive. Days ago, the ‘dancing twin’; Peter bagged his first ever solo award as a musician while today, his brother basks in the novelty of a release and not just any release but one that boasts of his soundness as an old timer in the music industry. The Rudeboy Records head honcho’s sound might be synonymous to R&B/Soul but he proves his sonic versatility in this record titled; Together by taking the Dancehall route.

Coming with a fresh new groove, a fiery sound, and a different perspective, Rudeboy is deep in his feelings on this track which borders on love and to ensure he leaves a lasting imprint he enlists Dancehall connoisseur, Patoranking and together, using emotive vocals the duo blend with the fast paced rhythm of the drums  and divergent keys controlling the emotive atmosphere of the song and frankly, our bodies. They mirror this energy in the accompanying visuals which sees both artistes wooing the girls of their dreams in the streets flanked by dancers and skaters .

New faces and sounds might be taking over the Nigerian music industry but the trusty sounds of old timers like Rudeboy are very much still welcome providing they are as good as Together.
