Runtown shares kaleidoscopic video for the fiery ‘Emotions’

Last week, Runtown unexpectedly shared his second EP, Traditions, his first solo sojourn since his departure from Eric Manny Entertainment and more impressive than the project’s content is Runtown’s manner of approach as a lone ranger. Though not widely received, the project has garnered attention, positive and otherwise for the singer and if anything, has propelled him to do more including the release of the video for a standout from the project, the Spellz produced Emotions.

The Sesan directed video takes on the kaleidoscopic nature of the song by bathing Runtown and his muses in an array of colourful lights that mirror the state of Runtown’s mind and attitude to the relationship he sings. Not that we expected anything less from Runtown; whose creative energy we know is aggressive but this video has done more for us than the 6-track EP it comes from.

When he served us with a unique 20-track compilation of his discography earlier this year, we expected more in terms of an official project from him but with Tradition, not only has Runtown given us an average performance, he has also set the pace for a new path.
