Runtown Is All Loved Up In Video For ‘Kini Issue’

As is the growing norm for creatives today, Runtown finds and visualizes his inspiration for his earlier released hit single, Kini Issue, in his girlfriend who takes center stage with him in the just-released video for the single.

As with Runtown’s newly found penchant for minimalism, the video is a minimalist affair steeped in his preference for experimentalism in sound, story, and scenery. He teams up with renowned producer Meji Alabi to create a monochromatic utopia out of his famous words “only you fit match up my energy“.

The inclusion of his depiction of Lagbaja, the saxophone wielding mystery man who dazzles s Kini Issue with sprightly jazz sounds adds to the video’s allure.
