Runtown’s been one of the more consistent hitmakers in the Nigerian pop scene in the last two years. While he’s had a quiet year as he seeks to wrangle himself out of some label issues, he drops a new single Unleash with Fekky.
The song is in the similar low tempo strand we’ve come to see as synonymous with Runtown as best captured on super hits like Mad Over You and For Life. We see him namecheck a love interest by the name of Vanessa who gives him stress free living. In what is a bit of a confusing message, we also hear him vow to “flex” on the enemies who’ve unsuccessfully tried to put the ex on him. The song also comes with a verse from UK rapper, Fekky.
