December in Lagos has become synonymous with festivals, concerts and an all-round potpourri of events that show off the city’s life and energy. Over the years, the Homecoming festival, founded by Grace Ladoja has emerged as one of the biggest youth festivals and refreshingly, it’s outside of the ever-crowded Christmas period so it gets an opportunity to be a week-long of festivities.
This year, the festival showcased Africa’s brightest shining stars including the likes of Asake, Zinoleesky, Lojay, Pretty Boy DO, Boj and Black Sherif alongside some of the UK’s most relevant acts today including ArDee and Lancey Foux while creating an opportunity for the next generation.
