Steamy Nollywood Film ‘Hey You’ Set To Hit The Big Screens This Weekend

Hey You is an upcoming romantic comedy that is already being touted by many as one of the “steamiest” Nollywood movies to come out in 2022. The film is written and directed by Uyoyou Adia and produced by Victoria Akujobi for Anthill Studios, and is set to be released in cinemas on July 29th.

The film is Uyoyou Ada’s second after her successful directorial debut titled Charge and Bail, and since Anthill has been recognized as one of the leading Film Production, Post-Production and Animation studios based in Nigeria, viewers are hopeful that Hey You will not disappoint.

The upcoming movie stars the likes of Timini Egbuson, Efe Irele, Temitope Olowoniyan, Stan Nze, Rotimi Salami, Miriam Peters, Seyi Awolowo, Tunbosun Aiyedehin and others. Hey You is centered around the story of Abel (played by Timini Egbuson) and Bianca (Played by Efe Irele) who meet on a sex site called humorously called “Fans Alone”. Viewers get to see the shy and nerdy Abel meet up with Bianca (a more seasoned user of the sex site) in real life. However, things start to get a little messy when Abel catches feelings for Bianca, which leads them both into a sticky situation with another man she met online who wants Bianca all to himself.

Let the drama begin! As Abel gathers his loins to fight for Bianca and save her from the clutches of the man that doesn’t want to let her go, the question still remains: is Bianca worth fighting for?

Speaking about the film recently, Uyoyou Ada said, “at the risk of sounding cliche, I would say that this movie is nothing like anyone has seen before… Without revealing too much, working with such a quality team is something I always look forward to and all I can promise is that we are bringing magic to the big screen.”

Rated 18, this may not be the movie you want to see with your parents or toddlers around! Nevertheless, Hey You promises to be a witty but raunchy ride, and will be showing in cinemas nationwide. Sounding like your kind of thing? Watch the trailer below:
