Mr Eazi Joins Tega Starr On ‘French Kiss’ And Shares Comical Video For ‘Oh My Gawd’

Mr Eazi is booked and busy this week. He extends and shares his creative genius with Tega Starr on French Kiss, released on the back of the video for his Major Lazer, Nicki Minaj and K4MO assisted collaboration, Oh My Gawd.

The springy, sound and culture harmonious French Kiss, produced by South Africa’s Master KG, popular for his continental hit, Jerusalema and Nigeria’s Magic Sticks, offers an introduction to Tega Starr, one of thirty artists selected by Mr Eazi to participate in the coveted and sought after emPawa30, the second and latest round of his emPawa Africa talent incubator program for emerging African artists. While it’s not it’s his artistical debut, as evidenced in his grounded delivery, French Kiss is Tega Starr’s first official release through emPawa Africa, one that speaks to his prospects in the industry owing to this affiliation.

On the other hand, the video for Oh My Gawd, directed by Reel Goats, premiered as part of YouTube Originals’ new weekly music series, Released, featuring behind-the-scenes interviews with Mr Eazi and Major Lazer. The video follows an official dance video released last month for the track, which appears on the upcoming Major Lazer album, Music is the Weapon, as well as Mr Eazi’s Something Else project. Partly animated and realistic, the video features a cartoon likeness of Mr Eazi and Nicki Minaj.
