Capitalizing on a partnership that yielded a successful maiden effort, Dr Dolor Entertainment now known as DDE returns this month with another collaborative effort titled Pray that is brought to life by the duo of Teni The Entertainer and Phyno.
By all indications, Pray is an upbeat Neo-Highlife track that finds the eclectic duo calling on Divine Orders to effect a change in status by using their differing native dialect inflected vocals upon a rich and vibrant, jazzed up soundscape of saxophones, galvanic drums and frenetic classic keys that make their monologues more interesting than it should be.
Though there’s a tribal divide present, their creative synergy surpasses the differing languages used in projecting their intent and the result is as impressive as we expected a Teni and Phyno collaboration to be.
