Heartbreak And High-life Fuse Perfectly In The Cavemen.’s Video For ‘Bena’

In 2020, brother duo, Kingsley, and Benjamin have managed to create and host a niche that fuses the best of raw Highlife with the progressiveness of mainstream music resulting in the tasteful brew of organic music they serve us with today. Barely a month ago, their short but impactful career culminated in an acclaimed project that has the entire industry propounding theories on the how and why of their sound, and in their unyielding state, they share the video for Bena this week.

Bena is a soulful song about heartbreak and what better way to portray the raw feelings projected as quick-paced percussions mixed with emotive lyrics than a video that shows the eclectic duo in their element, much like their live performances.

With Kingsley on the guitar as always, Benjamin skillfully handling the drums and their muse dancing away into oblivion, The Cavemen, with directorial help from Granville Wilson take us back to the vintage era during which highlife was depicted in ethereal forms no matter the subject of the song.
