2019 has been an eventful year for Euphonic Music’s poster boy Tonero – whose early days as a SoundCloud Star with singles like Missed Calls elevated his star. With three official singles, Thunder featuring Trill Xoe, Believer featuring Marvin, Energy, and Do Better which have all made waves. His newest release is a single featuring Aylø titled Screaming.
Screaming is a fast-paced hip-hop record detailing a belligerent young man whose introspection has inspired him to accept the outcome with flamboyance. According to Tonero, the single started out as a cry for help in the middle of the night, but it has become much more than that. With an experimental verse from Aylø which sees the soul singer merge with the pronounced bass tone while maintaining his cool is a nod to his versatility, Tonero is inspired by the co-existing dread and admiration of the things in life that are way bigger than he is.
This track adds to the stack of singles teasing a full-length project which Tonero has said will be out soon.
