In anticipation for its October 4 release, RGD Media Production has released the official trailer for their rom-com, Don’t Get Mad Get Even.
The film follows two brothers (with contrasting views on life) who have to live in the same house after older brother, Jaiye, is evicted by his landlord. Juwon, the younger brother, is an irredeemable playboy who believes women don’t like nice guys so he treats them as he pleases. Both brothers are often at loggerheads because of their opposing views, especially as it involves women.
Femi Jacobs, donning dreadlocks, plays an unfamiliar role as Juwon the playboy. Juwon is also a successful music producer- he dropped out of school to pursue a career in music against the counsel of Jaiye, who stayed in school, excelled and became a lecturer. This part of the film explores the dynamics of being highly educated but poor and being less educated yet rich.
The cast includes Yemi Solade Deyemi Okanlawon, Toyin Abraham, Nancy Isime, Kenneth Okolie, Jide Kosoko and Saheed Balogun.
