Udoka Oyeka’s Short Film ‘Las Gidi Vice’ Is About Sexual Offenders Paying For Their Crimes

Udoka Oyeka has a released a new short film, Las Gidi Vice which is currently available for viewing on YouTube. The film takes viewers on a journey through a playboy’s fun night out as it becomes adventurous after meeting a girl he will not forget in a hurry.

The cast of the film includes: Theresa Edem, Hauwa Allahbura, Bucci Franklin and Tunji Ogunkeye. The Trino Studios produced Las Gidi Vice is an official selection at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2018 and screened at the British Film Institute BFI 2018 amongst others.

This is not a first for film maker Udoka Oyeka as his past projects have also enjoyed critical acclaim. His previous work include Down and Out, a short film which got three nominations at the 2013 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMCVA). It was also an official selection at the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) and got nominated for Best Short Film as well. Living Funeral, Zr-7 and No Good Turn are other highly acclaimed projects of the film maker. On screen he is better know as Tsav on the hit TV series, Tinsel. Check out the film below:
