UFC set to be sold for $4 billion in sport’s history’s largest ever deal.

Reports have continually come through stating that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) shall be sold. It looks as if the fighting promotion company shall now be going for what shall go down in history as the most expensive deal ever with a price of $4 billion.

The league is expected to make the announcement today as they sell out to a group led by the talent giant WME-IMG. The past two months, since ESPN reports reported the potential sale have seen UFC President, Dana White deny that the organization was for sale. White has however begun to claim that “the sale is bittersweet but that the sport is on to the next level.”

Lorenzo Fertitta (who owns 80% of the organisation with his brother Frank) will remain as chairman for 6-8 weeks but will step down afterwards
