Sahara Reports interacted with sources at the UK base home office and they disclosed that “we can confirm approximately 50 people were returned to Nigeria on a flight which arrived today.” The spokesperson at the office says the rumored number of 500 was certainly false.
In the written statement provided by the representative, he told Sahara Reports “those with no right to be in the UK should return home. We expect people to leave the country voluntarily but, where they do not, Immigration Enforcement will seek to enforce their departure.”
The BBC, which originally revealed the story, has since removed their story which was displayed on their website last week.
