Victony Pours His Heart Out In “Jaga Jaga” Featuring BabyboyAV

Victony makes a return with a new single Jaga Jaga featuring BabyboyAV. After an explosive run with his track Soweto earlier this year, which featured Don Toliver, Rema and Tempoe in its remix, Victony has maintained a steady pulse in the industry with other hit songs, including his two-pack single My Darling + Angelus, and a cover of Dolly Parton’s Jolene. On this new track, Victony is assisted by BabyboyAV, a talented musician who caught his big break in 2021 with Confessions. 

Jaga Jaga is a story of struggle and triumph. The track begins with a profound line “My life is a different story, It’s a movie written by God” and continues in this reflective manner till the end. Both artists speak about challenges they have faced and express their determination in staying positive through it all. Victony taps into the pain he suffered as a result of an accident in 2021 that left him using a wheelchair. He mentions how “no accidents happen accidentally, e be destiny plotting” and goes further to express his dependence on God who ensured he never gave up. 

Both Victony and BabyboyAV blend seamlessly on the track, making it difficult to decipher where one ends and the other begins. This synergy is an impressive element, while the lyrics  easily captures the attention of listeners and transports them to the artist’s perspective.
