Many of the individuals in my generation complain about the focus put on culture and trying to see their values passed on by the generations gone. African Booty Scratcher is a series created, written and produced by Damilare Sonoiki which shall visualise these complaints and brings them to life.
The series about a Nigerian family who migrate to America and desire to stay true to their roots is currently in the fundraising process as they look to create a powerful show which tackles stereotypes and shows the stories of many African immigrants.
Sonoiki has experience in this field shown by his production credits on ABC’s Black-ish.
African Booty Scratcher has been tagged as the African Everybody Hates Chris by some despite being only a trailer in. This definitely suggests the series is something to anticipate.
