How Femi Aluko Helped Build Paystack and Co-Founded Chowdeck

Educated at the illustrious Obafemi Awolowo University, Femi Aluko’s childhood fascination with the most Nigerian of things: low current would eventually lead to his emergence into the tech mainstream at payments processor, Paystack.

Aluko helped build the core infrastructure for multiple paying methods. Working at Paystack saw him work closely with storied founders: Shola Akinlade and Ezra Olubi and helped Femi find himself as an engineer.

Inspired by a food delivery experience in Dubai where he received his food in under 20 minutes when his usual experience back home was to receive his food hours after it was ordered, Aluko set out on the journey to build Chowdeck and has built the company into – the premier food delivery platform in Nigeria.
