Following the release of her sophomore album Red Velvet, Singer Aituaje ‘Waje‘ Iruobe released a documentary – Music Is Not For Me, which chronicles her uncertainty about what music holds for her.
The documentary takes us behind the curtain on the emotional turmoil entertainers face. It opened with Waje scrolling through series of tweets, one of them which questions the effort she puts into accompanying her releases with due promotion.
Waje is highly convinced that she is downplayed as an artiste as her recent album, Red Velvet, which she alluded to be one of the best albums in the country, was met with cold reception despite the rave from ‘fans’ that a Waje album was long overdue.
