Following last week’s audio drop of the single, produced by Bruno and Screwface, Wande Coal drops the video for Come My Way his first solo release of 2021, following last year’s Realms EP-his first new project in six years. The track blends the infectious vibes of afrobeats and the throbbing digital pulse of South Africa’s exploding amapiano sound with Wande’s powerful, multi-octave vocals, as he defiantly promises not to let anyone get between him and his blessings.
Sesan, a frequent collaborator who directed the videos for records like Iskaba and, Baby Hello reunites with the singer for the Come My Way video, shot in Lagos. The video showcases the varying sides of Coal’s home city, setting dance scenes in a vacant urban housing development before shifting to a luxurious beachside resort.
