One of the biggest criticisms we have of the Nigerian experience economy is the desire to always start and end everything in Lagos. With shows organized by artists, it’s sometimes a lack of research and analytics that leads to the suggestion that Lagos is best. Over the years, Phyno has catered to his core with sold-out editions of Phynofest. Over Easter weekend, Warri was arguably second to only Lagos as the second edition of the Warri Mega Fiesta came to town.
Instagram pictures from the likes of arguably four of the biggest five Nigerian artists in Wizkid, Tekno, Davido and Tiwa Savage definitely piqued the interest of the people about what could possibly have drawn the stars to unfamiliar territory.
