Tiwa Savage and Omarion deliver an exhilarating visual for Get It Now

On March 9th Tiwa Savage dropped the stellar remix to Get It Now ft Omarion. Don’t get me started on how much of a compression of talent Omarion is or how much he made the song his, but if for whatever reason you have not listened to the remix, do so here.

The Pepsi ambassador earns her fee with the subtle brand placement through out the video. It features intermittent bursts of vibrancy and youthfulness in an entirely unique way. The creativity in the video immediately leaves you asking who is responsible for the video. Fortunately, you don’t get to see it till the end, and… Spoilers, it’s Meji Alabi – Head director at JM Films, responsible for renowned videos like Maleek Berry’s Been Calling, Yungen and Mr Eazi’s All night and many more. The video is an Afrocentric perfection. A minute in, and its able to prove to be the most distinctively invigorating video you would have seen in a while. From Omarion’s mannerisms and showmanship, to Tiwa’s sensuality and the esoteric dance moves that permeate the video, you almost do not want the video to end.

As for the narrative, Tiwa and Omarion are in separate relationships but are catching each others eyes. Their distant admiration unfolds through out the video and ends in an unexpected way. The way both artists give life to their characters is not something you see everyday. It’s something exciting.
