Following the release of his last single Zombie, which featured Yung6ix and Picasso Nova, Nigerian based rapper, producer and entrepreneur Wave Godd has announced an early January release for his debut studio album Poseidon. Wave Godd’s debut album Poseidon is a collective album which features some of the best rappers in Nigeria, both upcoming and established. Some featured acts on the album include LooLoo, Hotyce and Payper Corleone.
Poseidon is the first offering from the stables of Wave Godd entertainment, an event, artiste management, and music recording company founded in 2016 by Esoghene Bukarhua a.k.a Wave Godd. Esoghene has said that the full length album is scheduled for worldwide premiere on the 7th of January 2023.
“Growing up I was always happiest when I was around other artists or in the studio making music. My first recording was produced by Yung6ix and since that day I knew I was going to pursue a full time career in music and also own my own label imprint,” Esoghene said. He also added, “Artists like Drake, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Ye, Yung6ix and Game to mention a few have always been my biggest motivators.”
Poseidon, the album, reflects on ambitions, life goals and staying true to one’s dreams. The album focuses on the struggles of life, and never giving up even when it seems like all hope is lost and everything is against you. 3 singles off the project, Zombie ft Yung6ix & Picasso Nova, Actually ft Picasso Nova, and Money ft Jaemo Banton, Th3 Ghost & Tentik, are already available on all music platforms.
