Wavy The Creator Returns In Inimitable Style On Confidence Driven ‘Genre Bender’

As with everything Wavy The Creator does, she takes a break from a long hiatus as she returns today in an inimitable style, confidence bristling on the aptly titled Genre Bender.

Since taking a step back from the limelight, Wavy has been on a journey of growth and self-discovery, in order to connect with herself and others on a deeper level. Speaking about this, she said, “I needed this time to really work on myself. It has allowed me to regain my confidence and discover new parts of myself and my music. I’ve learned more about the kind of music I want to make, and I feel a lot more connected to my creative side. I’ve unlocked a different level of myself that I’m excited to share in a pure and honest way.”

In celebration of this evolution and of course to show it off, she shares Genre Bender, a freestyle track, that iterates her perspective on her brand which she articulates with vim and the kind of sexy confidence she exudes each time she performs.

Produced by Ghanaian producer Kuvie; whose unique fusion of old school hip hop and a splash of funk elements gives life to Wavy’s narrative, Genre Bender will only be available for only 24 hours.
