Wizkid Announces Date For New Album Release

Grammy-winning artist, Wizkid has taken to his Instagram stories to announce the release date for his new album. More Life, Less Ego (MLLE), Wizkid’s fifth studio album is set to drop on August 5th, 2022.

The album is expected to feature both local and international music acts including Ayra Star, Naira Marley, BNXN, Skepta, TY Dollar Sign, and Flame. Wizkid also teased new music, sharing photos and videos from the studio as well as a video of music producer, DJ Spinall. He also hinted that a new drop may be released any day now.

More Life, Less Ego is coming after the success of Wizkid’s last album, Made In Lagos. In 2021, Wizkid received two Grammy nominations for the Made In Lagos Album — Global Music Album, and Best Global Music Performance for Essence, the hit song from the album featuring Tems. The 14-track album featured artists from around the world like Burna Boy, Tems, Damian Marley, Skepta, Projexx, H.E.R, and Ella Mai. Wizkid also collaborated with Justin Biener and BNXN on the deluxe edition of the MIL album.
