Wizkid Bows Out Of 2018 With One Last Single.

Despite being touted in some quarters as the musician who had the most successful year in Nigeria, the truth remains that Wizkid’s music had way less impact than we’re wont to expect.

With songs like Gucci Snake , Master Groove, Sade and Fever that came with little to no replay value and year that came with controversy, it’s possible that the self dubbed Starboy’s focus this year was directed at other ventures outside the music. However, he makes one last attempt this month perhaps to redeem himself or to cushion his lineup for his sold out show with a song titled Salute featuring label mates; Simon Kassa and Ceeza Milli today.

The Phantom Beatz song while sound diversified with hints of Dancehall is reminiscent of every track that has come out of Wizkid’s den this year and this further spotlights the lacklustre nature of his every one of his efforts.
