Wizkid’s Come Closer has been his biggest track this year and benefitted heavily from Drake’s firepower. Many Nigerians were disappointed that Drake didn’t feature in the video which was directed by Daps however that didn’t stop them from indulging. Late last night, a second video of the track surfaced online and while it doesn’t feature Drake either, it features many more heads. The video was directed by Alan Ferguson.
Our guess is that Sony Music played a major role in the original video while the unreleased version was independent of label influences. The bigger issue is the fact that Wizkid’s camp is unable to keep a lid on everything at the moment with leaks having become the order of the day.
