In the Nigerian market, there’s always a dance movement around. Prior to the Zanku which took its place at the top in the latter half of 2018, was the Shaku Shaku. It’s interesting seeing how Zlatan pioneered the dance without putting out the video for the record only offering glimpses and allowing Nigerians run with it and add tidbits of their own version.
This week, Zlatan goes ahead to reacquaint us with the movement in form of the full video for the dance anthem; Zanku (Leg Work) which sees him and a number of dancers and fans taking to the streets to serve the best of their leg work moves.
Zlatan is fast becoming the latest ambassador of the streets in music circles and he continues to traverse socio-economic class, suggesting he is here to stay.
