In this light, Homeware brand Acacia Studios win our hearts with their 9 piece home collection: Ekó (Nostalgia for the Past, Curiosity about the present).
The inspiration? The long standing craft and industry of traditional African cultures. The collection provides its take on past collections of classic Nigerian items fused with modern product design.
