Apparently, Boko Haram attacks on the UK & US embassies were recently thwarted

Security officials have claimed that they recently prevented potential Boko Haram attacks on the British and American embassies in Abuja.

A statement released on Wednesday by the Department of State Services revealed that late last month a ring that had “perfected plans to attack” the embassies along with “other Western interests” in Abuja was infiltrated and had seen five suspects arrested.

This revelation comes quickly following an announcement by the US government that they are in the process of selling the Nigerian government fighter planes which shall be used in the continuing battle against Boko Haram.
