Davido and Tiwa Savage continue to surf the waves that have landed them in international waters this year. While both artistes have crossed borders to perform in various cities in the world this year, they will converge at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Barakaldo, Biscay on the 4th of November, 2018 as contenders for the highly coveted Best African Act Award presented by the MTV Europe Music Award body.
This wouldn’t be the first time both artistes are contending albeit separately for awards in similar category. Infact, in 2014 and 2015, Davido was nominated for same Award but lost to Sauti Sol and Diamond respectively. In 2017 however, he finally snagged the award the successful release of a string of records worldwide. For Tiwa Savage, this is her first time as a nominee and though it’s almost clear who has had a better run (musically) and who deserves it more, it is up to fans; biased and unbiased to decide who gets the Award.

The MTV EMA is a yearly music awards show that features world-class performances from some of the biggest music acts on the planet. The 2018 EMA will be in Bilbao, Spain on Sunday 4 November at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
