As Davido continues to cast his net in international waters, his magnetic personality and ability to steer songs in the mainstream direction catches the attention of those who wish to add flavour to their songs with his husky vocals and knowledge of Afro-Pop. Top on that list this week is Ghanaian Rapper, Medikal who shares centre stage with Davido in the Video for their latest collaborative effort Father, an ode to the former’s come up stylized by prayers to a Supreme Being.
On the Halm produced track, Medikal fuses his native dialect with Davido’s sonorously articulated lyrics atop a generous offering of atmospheric and pulsating synths, backed by snares to generate feel-good vibes that aid the delivery of the song.
