The Cavemen Share Highly Anticipated Highlife Ballad ‘Runaway Lady’

When Lady Donli started pushing her ‘Enjoy Your Life’ gospel in 2019, she indirectly shared other gems, asides the mantras, we’ve come to love now with us. Of these gems, the Cavemen band is one that left a large imprint in our memories and since their debut, they’ve coasted through the industry with a handful of singles. To close out 2019, they promised one last single, Runaway Lady, and while its release was delayed last year, the band has come through with the single.

As expected, the highlife love ballad is a culture-rich articulation of romantic feelings from the Cavemen atop instrumentals flush with local sounds. The band’s signature shaky drum is the highlight of the fleeting but impactful love affair.
