Wande Coal closed 2016 with a dual release of Ballerz and Iskaba as he continues to bounce back slowly from what was a disappointing sophomore album in Wanted. Both tracks quickly became crowd favorites and remained in the conversation as some of Christmas 2016’s better efforts alongside Mad Over You, Problem and the like. At the beginning of March, Wande released the video for his Maleek Berry-produced Ballerz and he has followed up with the video for Iskaba which saw he and DJ Tunez who produced the track take to the streets of Johannesburg central suburb, Braamfontein and show of their dance moves as well as a ton of retro cars.
Wande Coal’s attempt at resurgence are currently on the right path but for Wande to hold the place he once held in our hearts, we’ll need a lot more music from him.
