Earlier this year, Yung L shared his long-awaited EP, Juice and Zimm. With no time to waste, he builds on its growing relevance with its very first video for Ready, the project’s sixth and most favored track.
Like everything that he does, the video is nonconforming and extraordinary, The Alien-directed video is conspicuously missing its performers including Tay Iwar and Sarkodie, spotlighting their muse who is played by Aduke Bey is a series of short scenes that don’t exceed two minutes.
The extremely short video leaves many questions unanswered and much to be desired of Yung L’s future offerings seeing as the video which is more or less a tip of the iceberg gives us a glimpse into his buzzing alternative creative space.
