Last year, Kida Kudz and Zamir were instrumental in the growth of the Hip Hop scene in the Nigerian music industry albeit late in the year but still as important as any one who started earlier. Individually and as a collective, they served us raw and refined energy and witnessing it was as sublime as each of these releases.
Last month, they teamed up for a fiery single titled Dangerous and this month, they reprise their roles as a collective in new single tagged Jan 1st; a gritty cut that sheds light on their ‘jiggy’ lifestyles over reverberating trap beats powered by 808s and edgy metaphors.
We don’t know where this newly formed partnership is leading but we hope to see more of the duo as a collective this year seeing as their chemistry is one to reckon with.
