Asake Releases New Single “Peace Be Unto You”

Talented music star Asake has released his anticipated new song  Peace Be Unto You. This is following the success of his last song Palazzo which had music fans learning the lyrics word for word.

Asake, who released his first EP Ololade Asake in February of 2022 under YBNL nation, has quickly become a music sensation, amassing fans with his distinct music style and stellar performances. He released a remix of his hit track, Sungba from his Ololade Asake EP where he featured African Giant, Burna Boy was released in March and he quickly followed with the DJ Spinall assisted Palazzo.

A few weeks ago, Asake teased a snippet of his new song where he samples the viral video of a policewoman in an altercation shouting “help me, help me, dem dey carry me go where I no know!”

On Twitter especially, many people are of the opinion that Asake needs to switch it up and that his heavy percussion beats have become monotonous.

But this does not seem to deter the artist, whose latest drop is accompanied by its crisp official video. The artist also rode on the wave of his new drop announcement to inform fans that his first album Mr Money With The Vibe (MMWTV) was on its way.
