The initial announcement of Davido’s 27th of December 2018 slated concert was met with misgivings following the controversy surrounding the star and Eko Atlantic. Davido assured a new venue and he stayed true to his word finally announcing a venue for his much anticipated annual concert.
His decision to opt for a different venue with a better capacity to hold concert goers became an evident necessity after the logistical nightmare that was his sold out show at Eko Hotel the previous year. The new venue, Ocean View Grounds was made known to the public via the star’s social media pages and hints at reconciliation with the Eko Atlantic.
