dndSection put the world on notice with the release of his debut project, Love Lies and Bleeding, in August 2019. The project which featured artists like Somadina, Northside Mally, Toyé, and Zarion Uti, placed dndSection on the map with its success bringing the eyes of label execs to the versatile Atlanta-based act. Since then, he has sparsely released videos like John Witherspoon tribute Get Out Ya Feelings and Valentine’s Day treat Needs and Wants. Simultaneously, he returned to the drawing board and is currently putting the finishing touches to his follow-up project. To mark his return, dndSection shares Darling, a beautiful and impassioned RnB track featuring Chrystel Bagrou, the Ivorian singer who shines on the hook of Rema’s Beamer and has writing credits on Ari Lenox and Dreamville’s Bussit off Grammy-nominated album Revenge of the Dreamers.
Singing “tell me what you want, baby I’ll come through” in response to Chrystel’s initial hesitancies, dndSection shows himself as equally vulnerable and reassured as he looks to clarify the situation.
Darling is co-produced by multi-platinum producer, AJ Ruined My Record, 88jay, and Jay Scalez.
