The iPhone 11 was unveiled by Apple Inc. on September 10, 2019, at the Steve Jobs Theater in the Apple Park in California. The smartphone priced at $699 is $50 less than its predecessor, the iPhone XR, and improves on key features of the iPhone XR at a better price point consequently allowing the iPhone to take its place at the top echelons of smartphone production once again.

We have gathered five things to know about the iPhone 11, read them below.

  1. Better camera quality

Apple upgraded the camera for the new smartphone to a 12-megapixel dual-lens setup that takes over from the single-lens camera obtainable on the old iPhone XR. The set-up includes an ultra-wide focus that provides a 120-degree field of view, the camera also automatically moves to night mode in dark areas brightening shots taken in those places without compromising picture quality. A new UI improvement is the Quick Take that allows users to move fluidly from taking pictures to recording videos.

  1. Colorful and durable design

The iPhone 11 has an all-glass body and the design is a cultured mix of poise and functionality. Apple also claims that the glass used for the design are some of the strongest used in making any smartphone, the device also boasts a IP68-rated water resistance level meaning that it can withstand 2 meters of water for 30 minutes. The weight and height of the phone are similar to its predecessor but where it stands out is its availability in six colors: black, green, red, purple, white, and yellow.

  1. The best gaming experience

Apple recently unveiled its Arcade gaming subscription service. This adds another layer to the quality of the improvements made. The service will offer subscribers more than 100 games exclusively available on the platforms. As it’s a paid service, some of the best developers in the world signed up to make games exclusive to the platform. Users will be able to enjoy high graphics games such as Fornite, and or play real money casino games at one of the legal online casinos in NJ.

The iPhone 11 has a A13 Bionic chip inside it replacing the A12 Bionic chip of the iPhone XR and that is the fastest processor in the business offering 20% faster functionality across machine learning, gaming and graphics. According to Apple, the “A13 Bionic is so powerful, everything you do is fast and fluid. It also works in the most power-efficient way possible, so your battery lasts longer. In fact, A13 Bionic is so advanced, it’s years ahead of the pack.” All the new iPhone 11 versions comes with Apple’s latest version of iOS software, iOS 13.

  1. Great battery life

A key function of any great device is how long it can last without power and the iPhone 11 can go an average of 11 hours without power. Unfortunately, a fast charger is not provided as part of the package but that can be bought to get the phone to 50% with half an hour of charging.
