Since he infiltrated the industry barely half a decade ago, Falz has assumed different roles and personalities built on his versatile personality, most impressive of which is his role in battling the irregularities of our society. Since the release of his 7-track project, Moral Instruction, we haven’t gotten much from him as a solo artist but this month, he not only returns with new music but he brings with him the ‘Bad Guy’ personality we became enthused with in the beginning on a new single for which he enlists Dice Ailes titled Alakori.
Falz and Dice Ailes are truly in their elements on the Chillz produced single built around mid-tempo instrumentals on which the embattled duo express their frustrations about a love triangle they seem to be involved in.
The comical but tense atmosphere extends to the Clarence Peters directed video in which at different levels, the duo go head to head, weaponizing their possessions and trying to outdo each other. From all indications, it seems comical Falz is back and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.
