For many Nigerian children, Indomie’s annual Children’s Day Fiesta has become a familiar part of growing up. This year, the brand is extending that experience beyond the event grounds with the unveiling of a new digital platform designed to keep its young community engaged all year round.
The platform, launched during the 21st edition of the Indomie Children’s Day Fiesta, creates a dedicated space for children, families, and members of the Indomie Fan Club to connect, learn, play, and participate in activities beyond the traditional Children’s Day celebrations.

The launch comes as Indomie continues to deepen its relationship with Nigerian families through experiences that combine entertainment, community, and engagement. While the Children’s Day Fiesta remains the centrepiece of that effort, the new platform signals a shift towards creating a more continuous connection with its young audience.
This year’s celebrations reached more than 100,000 children across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Anambra, and Abeokuta, reflecting the scale the initiative has attained over the years. Rather than concentrating activities in a single location, the brand adopted a multi-city approach, bringing the experience closer to children and their families across the country.

In Lagos, thousands of children gathered at Apapa Amusement Park for a day of rides, games, music performances, dance, and interactive activities. The atmosphere was unmistakably festive, with families turning out to celebrate a day dedicated to children.

Speaking at the event, Faith Ogechi Joshua, National Manager, Indomie Fan Club, said the platform was created to ensure the relationship with young fans continues long after Children’s Day.
“Children’s Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate with children in a special way, but we also want to remain part of their journey throughout the year. The new platform allows us to create more opportunities for interaction, learning, fun, and community for children and families across Nigeria,” she said.
The initiative also drew commendation from the office of the Lagos State First Lady, with Mrs Subomi Sanwo-Olu, who represented the First Lady, acknowledging the brand’s sustained investment in programmes that support children’s development and well-being.

At a time when brands are increasingly seeking ways to build meaningful communities rather than one-off campaigns, Indomie’s Children’s Day programme offers an example of consistency. Twenty-one editions in, the Fiesta has evolved from a single annual celebration into a platform that continues to engage generations of Nigerian children.

With the introduction of its new digital platform, the brand appears to be building on that legacy, creating a space where the spirit of Children’s Day can live beyond a single date on the calendar.
