Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo tour has been the talk of the town from Chris Rock declaring it the greatest love show he’s ever seen to celebrities like Travis Scott, Vic Mensa, J.R Smith and Seth Rogen moshing with other concertgoers. TMZ are reporting that Mr West has a new belt on his waist- the record for merch sales at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Selling $780,000 in merch on the Monday show alone (he played Madison Square Garden again on September 6), Kanye West beat the previous record of $540,000 in merch by Pope Francis, who held a mass there last year. That means Kanye has bested the previous record by $240,000.
The reports come ahead of Yeezy Season 4, which will be streaming on Tidal later today. Kanye is expected to showcase the latest fashion collection in his Yeezy line.
