Lamii Teams Up With Yoshiii for Optimistic New Single ‘J’ori’

Lamii put his authenticity on display with his tracks like Keep on Rocking, Ja! and in an even larger proportion on his most recent project Signs and Wonders. As he shares his first single of 2020, he stays true to the authenticity we’ve become accustomed to as he connects with regular collaborator Yoshiii for J’ori.

J’ori serves as a prayer as Yoshiii optimistically sings “hope my family and friends want the best for me, I hope my flame so big, that’s my destiny.” Lamii’s religiosity is on display further down the line when he sings “let them tell bad belle to stop testing me, man no fear nobody cos my God and my savior dey beside me.” In the same vein, Lamii is reassured he’s put in the work to belong as we hear him warn about underrating him and humbly brag about his rockstar status.
