The early millenium was a dark period for the Hip hop scene in Nigeria- one that hosted its relegation to the doldrums and a struggle to produce at least 5 great MC’s. This went on until Chocolate City’s arrival, indicating a paradigm shift of sorts. Chocolate City gave us Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz and M.I who gave us Blaq Bonez, Loose Kaynon and A-Q; a trio that in turn released premium content last year with M.I’s LAMB Augustproject.
Continuing in the same path, Loose Kaynon and A-Q share the video for one of the standouts titled Gang Gangfrom their Crown project.
In the short and gloomy video, The Myth provides the rappers with cinematic backdrops that complements their edgy punchlines. The group continues to break boundaries and we can’t wait to see where their fierceness takes our industry.
